New Warning About Swaddling

International Hip Dysplasia Institute have advised that experts are now warning that any restriction of leg movement may harm unstable hips.

Picnic in the Park

Let's get together to kick start Health Hips Week with a picnic in the park.
Two events are planned at this stage, and it's not too late to register to host one in your city or town.
Melbourne locals are encouraged to head to Thomas Street Reserve in Hampton and Perth locals can head to Synergy Parkland, Kings Park.

Hip Dysplasia in the News

Grandmother Raelean Bailey and her family were featured in Donnybrook-Bridgetown Mail for their efforts in raising awareness of Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH), after encountering a lack of information about the condition.

Help stop DDH

Let's join our collective social media reach and together we can tell more people about hip dysplasia to help stop late diagnosis and unnecessary incidences of DDH. Using online tool, Thunderclap, together with registered supporters we will be automatically posting 1 message on April 11th.
Visit or website or Facebook page for more information.

Take the Healthy Hips Challenge

If just 10 people each raise $100, this will go a long way towards helping Healthy Hips Australia being able to commence implementing a telehealth support service, produce Healthy Hip Kids for DDH Kids and more.
Take on the Healthy Hips Challenge today. Set up and share your MyCause page. With just $10 from 10 friends you will have reached your goal, too easy!
