Are you a patient or parent/guardian of a child with Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH)?

Please consider taking our survey to gather patient and family demographics and experiences with DDH. The purpose of this survey is to better understand you/your child’s experiences with the DDH care process. This survey is only for adults over the age of 18. If you are under 18 years old, please have your parent/legal guardian complete the survey. All responses are anonymous and you will not be asked to provide any personally identifiable information.

This survey is led by Dr. Kishore Mulpuri, Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at BC Children’s Hospital (Vancouver, BC Canada) and his team a team of researchers from the International Hip Dysplasia Registry (IHDR). The IHDR is the largest prospective study of paediatric hip dysplasia globally, and is hosted through BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute and The University of British Columbia.

This survey is also supported by the following organizations:

  • The International Hip Dysplasia Institute
  • Healthy Hips Australia
  • Steps Charity UK
  • I’m A HIPpy

  • Miles4Hips

If you are interested in participating in this survey, please click the link below to review the consent form. If you consent, you will be redirected to the survey. You will be given the option to complete the full survey (less than 15 minutes) or an abbreviated version (less than 10 minutes). While the full survey will require an extra 5 minutes of your time, it will provide significant data that could help make a difference in future DDH patient’s care.
