Back in October, Marley shared her story with us. We were excited to get this update about Amelia’s DDH journey a couple of days ago:
It’s great news for us; Amelia is only in her brace now for sleeping. In the first two days of being brace free she learnt how to stand up holding something. Within a week of being brace free she learnt to sit, roll properly each way (with and without the brace) and is now commando crawling!
We are such a happy household now that our little girl is progressing in her learning and we know even this isn’t holding her back.
I would love to let other hip families know that, it gets so much easier, it isn’t forever and, your little ones will thrive no matter what. As much as it feels horrible and as hard as it is, it’s for the best and your little ones will thank and love you for it when they are older.
