We won! Thank you

Thank you to the voters for Healthy Hips Australia in the March round of Easy Grants from Bankwest. The $1000 grant will be used for the design, printing and distribution of educational material, about signs symptoms and prevention of hip dysplasia, as part of our awareness campaign.

Healthy Hips Week 10-16 April

The first ever Healthy Hips Week is just days away. This is your chance to raise hip dysplasia awareness, and funds too for Australia’s only hip dysplasia charity Healthy Hips Australia.
Host a high tea, playgroup, bake sale, ladies night or morning tea.

International Hip Dysplasia Institute have advised that experts are now warning that any restriction of leg movement may harm unstable hips.

Picnic in the Park

Let’s get together to kick start Health Hips Week with a picnic in the park.
Two events are planned at this stage, and it’s not too late to register to host one in your city or town.
Melbourne locals are encouraged to head to Thomas Street Reserve in Hampton and Perth locals can head to Synergy Parkland, Kings Park.

Grandmother Raelean Bailey and her family were featured in Donnybrook-Bridgetown Mail for their efforts in raising awareness of Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH), after encountering a lack of information about the condition.
